OKO Recordings welcomes the continually excellent Spanish artist Road To Mana for his latest offering, which is another fine two track offering that comes with a remix from Betoko.
Opener Cape Hornos is a darkly alluring, low slung house tune. It has blasts of white noise and a percolating bass line that really draws you in. The prolific Betoko then steps up to remix and makes it a more driven, edgy, techno leaning cut that has broad synths lighting up the drums. It’s slick and kinetic and the sort of thing to really make a mark.
Road To Mana then rounds things out with Yecapasela, a more uplifting tune with progressive melodies that creep up the scale and bring plenty of emotion. It’s a classy end to another superb EP.
