EPM – 20th Anniversary

2021 sees EPM hit a new milestone as the Digital Distribution, Rights Management, PR company and record label celebrates 20 years of electronic music. The first part of the celebrations will see a series of three different genre based, multi-artist EPs released across the summer focussing each on techno, electro and then house – the three main pillars of EPM’s musical heritage.

Each EP features four exclusive brand new tracks coming in specially designed sleeves for the series. The first of these, out late May, will focus on techno and presents four new tracks from Robert Hood, Ben Sims, James Ruskin and Mark Broom. In June we turn to the 808 beats of electro with brand new cuts from The Advent & Zein Ferreira, Carl Finlow, Detroit’s Filthiest and Modulator aka Freddie Fresh. The series wraps up in July with four hot, house summer tunes featuring Eddie Fowlkes, Jon Dixon, DJ 3000 and Rico & Sonny (the brand new project from Adam Stolz and the recently departed Tim Baker). The compilation ‘EPM20’ will follow after the summer.

Formed in January 2001 by Oliver Way and Jonas Stone, initially as a PR company and DJ Booking & Management Agency, Melle Boels joined as a partner shortly after with the company evolving into an international digital distribution, Rights Management and sync licensing, PR & promotion company + music label with offices in Maastricht, London and Nashville. EPM now works with such esteemed labels as Dekmantel, Delsin, Reinforced, Peacefrog, M-Plant, Blueprint, Klockworks, Bonzai, Clone, Apron, Cultivated Electronics, Motech, Darkroom Dubs, BEK Audio, VOAM, City Boy Music, BIP, Viewlexx, Hot Elephant Music, Super-Sonic Jazz, Avian, Dirt Crew and hundreds more.

EPM Music’s own label has over 90 releases to its name with a glittering spectrum of today’s techno, house and electro pioneers. From label co-owner Oliver Way’s debut solo artist album to recent releases from Arno Vancolen, Bryan Chapman, Floorplan, Robert Hood, Techmarine Bottom Feeders, NEL (aka Cristian Vogel), Mark Flash, Francesco Terranova, Athens Computer Underground, Theiz, Victor Santana and Pearl Vision plus a catalogue embellished by the likes of Mark Broom, Paul Mac, Carl Taylor, Kristian Heikkila, Lee J. EPM20 marks 20 years of electronic music, 20 years of knowledge and 20 years of nurturing and supporting the artists and labels we love. We couldn’t have done it without you all and this marker is testament to that. EPM20 is dedicated to the memory of one of the most beautiful souls in the scene, Tim Baker who has been taken from us far too soon. Your music shines on.
